At Laser Spine Institute we understand your pain is debilitating, which is why we are devoted to doing everything in our power to help you get back to a better quality of life as soon as possible. Dedicated to efficiently and effectively serving each of our patients and their needs, we have developed a streamlined patient experience to help walk you through each step of your journey to relief. We are committed to ensuring each step with us is as comfortable and stress-free as possible.

Our streamlined patient experience generally includes:

Initial contact

Our dedicated team includes Patient Empowerment Consultants who are there to help you find out about our procedures and if you are a potential candidate. We want to make sure you are confident about the care you are receiving and this person will be there to answer any questions and make sure you transition smoothly to the next steps.

Consultation

If you live within a drivable distance of one of our centers, we recommend visiting our center for an initial consultation with one of our physicians. This opportunity allows you to sit with a physician who will review your most recent MRI or CT scan to determine if you are a potential candidate for one of our minimally invasive procedures. About 60 percent of our patients travel from out-of-state for our care, so we are also pleased to provide an over-the-phone MRI or CT scan review as well.

Care Management Team

If it is determined that you may be a candidate for one of our procedures, you will speak to our Care Management Team, including a Registered Nurse to help you complete medical assessments and a personal Patient Concierge to schedule your visit to our center and make your travel as smooth as possible.

Streamlined patient experience

Offering the highest level of care and service, our procedures are performed in our state-of-the-art outpatient ambulatory surgery centers and require no hospital stay.^ The majority of our patients are with us for five days. Typically, our patients have surgery on the third day of their visit and can return to their hotel or other accommodations the same day with their Care Partner. However, the length of the patient experience may vary.
